CRUISES FROM CALAIS

With its ideal location and with its extensive communication network, the port of Calais welcomes cruise ships bound for the North Sea and the Baltic.

The liners berth at the Paul Devot quay (inner harbour), ideally located near the centre of northern Calais and its shopping districts, and the historic Courgain Maritime district with its traditional fishermen’s houses. In addition to the lighthouse now classified as a historic monument and Fort Risban, along the banks of Paradise Basin, there is a traditional fish market with quaint covered stalls, and the typical cafes of the Minck district, a traditional stronghold for seafarers from far and wide.

PFor larger ships, the deep-water wharf of the Ravisse Basin also allows liners to berth near the town centre, and includes a shuttle service.
