    • TICKETS

Up to 50 departures to Dover every 24 hours

P&O Ferries, LD Lines/DFDS Seaways and MyFerryLink sail every day (except Christmas Day) on the Calais-Dover line.

The companies have ticket counters (open 24/7) in the lobby of the Cross-Channel Terminal (Calais Car Ferry). This is where tickets are sold and the check-in for foot passengers is located. Find out more about schedules and fares.

    • TRAVEL FORMALITIES

If you travel to England (which remains outside the Schengen area), you are strongly advised to refer to British legislation :

    • TRAFFIC ON THE TERMINAL

For your safety, you are requested to use the footpaths and to hold your children by the hand. Be attentive at all times and watch out for trucks manoeuvring.

When you check in with the companies, they issue you with a paper ‘hanger’ to be displayed on your rear-view mirror that indicates in what pre-boarding lane you must wait until loading begins.

Visitors are reminded that the terminal buildings are non-smoking.

    • REGISTRATION

Vehicle and passenger check-in takes place at least 30 minutes before boarding.
Be sure to leave enough time for identity checks at borders (border police PAF and Home Office UKBF).

    • OPENING HOURS

The terminal building is open every day from 05:00 to 23:30.

Reception and information : open from 07:00 to 22:00.

    • IMMIGRATION

Under the Treaty of Le Touquet, checks by the Immigration Service of the British Home Office (UKBF) are carried out on departure immediately after those carried out by the Border Police (PAF).

    • PETS

There are restrictions on the transport of animals to the UK, and we therefore advise you to contact your ferry operator.

    • SERVICES IN THE PRE-BOARDING AREA

There are three Service Points in the pre-boarding zone. Signs are provided to help you find them. Please follow the footpaths located at the start of the pre-boarding lanes.
